Captain Dave Fletcher was raised fishing the Ocean City area and has raised his 5 sons doing the same things all around OC. Before having his kids, Captain Dave spent all of his time after graduating from The George Washington University fishing professionally in the B.A.S.S, RedMan, and FLW tournament series. Now, he's all about helping others to catch fish, catch fish more consistently, catch bigger fish, and having a great time on the water. Nanticoke Outfitters Charter Fishing is always child-friendly, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Captain Dave has 5 sons of his own, so he’s been fishing with kids on a regular basis for the last 20 years! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, no worries because we have some on board. And you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your boat for the day is a 25’ Custom center console with space for 6 passengers. We were busy this winter updating a few things onboard such as a new Suzuki 350hp Motor, new upholstery, new canvas, and new electronics! You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with bait. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip!
The First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation. Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Captain Dave will help you follow regulations when you fish.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock, a hat, drinks, snacks, and sunglasses. Water bottles are included, free of charge, and we have an ice chest filled with ice ready for your food and drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Avoid hard liquor and please no glass bottles.
Exciting Changes for 2024
We are so excited for this upcoming 2024 fishing season. Last year was an incredible year for us as a Charter, collecting 61 “5-Star Reviews” and getting the “Angler’s Choice Award” on the Fishing Booker website. This made us realize we wanted to do more and offer even better service to our fishing clients… so here’s what we did…
- We have repowered the boat! We removed the dual 2-stroke Yamaha 250hp motors and replaced them with a single 2024 4-stroke 350hp Suzuki Outboard! This motor is super quiet, no smoke, and great on fuel.
- We have new canvas installed on the t-top as well as the curtains going around the center console. We have changed colors from that original burgundy color to plain black!
- Last but not least… all of the seats have new upholstery! That’s right, new seats all the way around!
